Location
At the tip of the ear, over the vessel at the ear margin.
Landmark: Vessel at the tip of the pinna.
Actions and Indications
Cools the blood and clears heat and toxin.
Needling
Bleeding technique: swab with alcohol, milk the ear tip to engorge the vessel, prick with a 25G needle and let 3-5 drops out.
Cautions
Avoid in bleeding disorders or thrombocytopenia.
