Location
On the ventral midline between the umbilicus and the pubis, about two fifths of the way from the pubis.
Landmark: Ventral midline of the caudal abdomen.

Tonifies original yang and source qi.
Needling
Oblique, shallow 0.5-1 cm; better suited to moxa than deep needling.
Cautions
Contraindicated in pregnancy.
