Location
1.5 cun lateral to the dorsal midline at the 3rd intercostal space.
Landmark: 3rd intercostal space over the epaxial muscles.
Actions and Indications
Regulates lung qi — the back-shu point of the lung.
Needling
Oblique 30-45 degrees toward the midline, 0.5-1 cm.
Cautions
Never perpendicular — pneumothorax risk.
