Location
On the dorsal midline in the interspinous space between the fifth and sixth lumbar vertebrae.
Landmark: L5-L6 interspinous space.
Actions and Indications
Awakens yang in the lower back.
Needling
Perpendicular 0.5-2 cm into the interspinous space.
Cautions
Do not reach the vertebral canal.
